INTRODUCTION
Do you know DPaint ? ;-) There is a nice option called "Workbench".
It tells the Workbench screen to close. So if you are running low on
Memory, it´s useful to switch Workbench off. There are many programs
requiring lots of RAM. But only a few are able to close Workbench.
ShutWB toggles Workbench by shortcut.
There is a further use of ShutWB. If You are using DOpus, CygnusEd
or other tools at the same time, it is sometimes confusing having
the Workbench Screen displayed when shuffling. If you close the
Workbench Screen, this problem is solved.
REQUIREMENTS
ShutWB requires Workbench 2.0 or better.
INSTALLATION
Put it into your WBStartup drawer if you want it to be run on Workbench
startup or anywhere else you like.
USAGE
ShutWB will close or open the Workbench screen if you press the
shortcut defined in the tooltypes. If there are any windows on
Workbench not owned by WB, shutting it will fail. ShutWB will
do a display beep then.
ShutWB will quit if it is run a second time.
TOOLTYPES
CX_PRIORITY
This tells ShutWB to use the given PRIORITY instead of 0.
CX_POPKEY
Determines the shortcut for toggeling Workbench.
Default is "alt control w"
BUGS
There are no bugs, only unknown features :)
But there are problems with RetinaEmu. If the Workench Screen is closed,
RetinaEmu crashes sometimes. If you know why or how to prevent this,
send me a mail.
